97.1 FM Talk and Emmis Communications St. Louis are looking for qualified candidates to intern with the Interactive team during the Summer 2008 semester. If you’re looking forward to a career as a webmaster, web designer or video editor and are interested in our unique, radio-centric work environment, this opportunity is for you.
As a member of the Interactive team, you’ll gain valuable experience working with many aspects of internet media – graphic design and photo editing, webpage layout and coding, Flash design, content management systems and video editing – for several popular, high traffic websites. You’ll also discover how a webmaster functions as part of a marketing team.
An Interactive intern should have working knowledge of the following:
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Dreamweaver (or equivalent WYSIWYG editor)
• (X)HTML & CSS
Additional helpful skills sets:
• Final Cut Pro
• Adobe Flash
• Adobe Illustrator
• Windows PC and Apple Macintosh environments
• Photography or Videography background
Internship Details:
• Internships are unpaid and must be for college credit
• Previous webmaster or radio experience is not required in order to be considered
• Applicants must be have availabilities during business hours (M-F 8:30am-5:30pm) and for the rare evening or weekend event
